"Your Move" Chess Mugs

Chess is the greatest game in the world, and we are here to honor the greatest chess players of all time, the 16 undisputed World Champions (for more information about the history of the World Chess Championship please check out this Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Chess_Championship).

Inspired by our passion for chess, we have created a piece of chess art called "Your Move" that flips the concept of a simultaneous exhibition on its head. In a normal simultaneous exhibition a group of people play chess against a single Grandmaster. The Grandmaster moves around the room making one move at a time, while the novice players sit at their chess boards trying to understand how they are all being destroyed so easily by one person.

The concept for "Your Move" is the exact opposite: the 16 World Champions are sitting at the table waiting for someone (maybe you!) to make the next move. The art was hand-drawn by a talented artist and depicts each World Champion in amazing detail. In addition, the game featured on each chess board is actually a critical moment from one of the most famous games played by each Grandmaster!

We partnered with a company that manufacturers art mugs for the likes of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York City and the Louvre in Paris. The quality of the artwork on each mug is amazing, and the large size of the mugs provides a perfect canvas for such a wide piece of art. These mugs are the perfect gift for yourself or for your friend or relative who loves chess.
